The HomeGrown Show is a LIVE, in-studio music show, produced one Saturday each month. HomeGrown is dedicated to musicians from the local listening area of the station. Musicians may live in the listening area, be originally from the area and living elsewhere, or have connections to someone from the local listening area. The goal of the show is to promote underground musicians with talent, and original songs. Each show, we will highlight one musician we bring into the studio to interview and have play songs LIVE!! We are always taking submissions for original content. Our “listening area” consists of the following counties: Roane, Calhoun, Wirt, Jackson, Clay, Wood, Kanawha, and Braxton. So if you currently live, are originally from, or have connections to these counties, and you are a musician, we invite you to contact us at WVRC 104.7FM.
